A WARM WELCOME

is the first thing we hope you will notice when you worship at Northwest. Our greeters and members try to make visitors feel at home and are helpful in assisting you with any needs you might have during your visit.  Hopefully you get a chance to visit the Welcome table to pick up a little information about what is going on at Northwest.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

We want you to wear whatever you are comfortable in.  We have some each Sunday that will wear suits and some that will wear jeans. Most of those who attend wear what is best described as business casual, but the most important thing is not what you wear,  but that you come.

An OPEN INVITATION

We want you to feel welcome to attend anything that Northwest has going on. Whether to a Bible class, a LIFE group, or lunch we want to encourage you to go and feel welcome.  Although we hope that we get a chance to personally invite you to the day's activities, visitors have a standing invitation.  Everyone is welcome!

ENGAGING BIBLE CLASSES

Our Bible classes are devoted to helping people learn about God through the Bible and applying that message practically to our everyday lives.  It is also a great  opportunity to get to know you a little better. We hope you will consider attending a Bible classes on Sunday morning and Wednesday night.

GOD-CENTERED WORSHIP

Our worship is God-centered through singing, preaching, prayer, and remembering Christ through the Lord's Supper. It is also uplifting as we seek to edify one another. We recognize that God is both greater than we are but is also involved in our lives. We give thanks to God for who He is and all He does in our worship service. Worship doesn't stop there. Romans 12:1-2 tells us that the way we live is also our worship to God. That means worship isn't confined to just one hour on Sunday.

LIFE GROUPS

On Sunday nights, we do not have a large assembly worship at the building. Instead we meet as smaller groups in the homes of a few of our members. These groups are a great way to get to know more people, providing a family feel that is open to welcoming new members.  In these groups we are able to fellowship, supper each other, but also to get to know God even better as we study the Bible in a smaller God-centered community.  Each one of our life groups is a little different, be sure to pick up some information about life groups and talk to one of our members about which one one be a good fit for you.
