Faith City Nursery and Preschool
Faith City Nursery and Preschool at Northwest Church of Christ provides a safe, loving, fun and comfortable environment for your child during the worship assembly. To accomplish this our workers will walk, rock, read, feed and play with the children to ensure they are content.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF PARENTS:
We simply ask that you follow this checklist every time you come to the Nursery and Preschool area: Diaper bag labeled with child’s name. Bottles, cups and pacifiers labeled. Pick up ID badge. Make sure we have your most recent information. Present ID badge at pick-up.
Our nursery and preschool are made up of four dedicated rooms: Infants, Market, Marina and a Quiet Room. The rooms are staffed by a team of 2-3 workers.
The infant room is available for children birth to 23 months. All children cared for in this room are cared for by background-checked adult volunteers. No snacks are given unless instructions are received at check-in.
This room is available for moms to nurse their babies. A changing table and rockers are located in this room. There is also floor space available for your little one to crawl, walk, or play. A speaker is available that enables you to listen to the worship service.
The Market and Marina rooms are for children between the ages of 2-4. Snacks and water are provided. When your child turns 4 they are able to join Faith City worship during our worship service.
Northwest wants our children's area to be a safe and secure place. We have implemented an ID badge system that prevents anyone other than the parent or authorized individual from picking up the child. As you sign in your child, you will receive an ID badge with your child’s name on it. Simply return the ID badge to a Faith City worker when picking up your child.
Child information cards are given to each parent to fill out before leaving their child(ren). We will use cell phones numbers to notify you by text if your child needs you. Please provide this information on the child information card.
In order to insure the safety and health of other babies and workers, please refrain from bringing your child if he/she has had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours.
Diarrhea, vomiting, fever, rash, open sores, runny nose (anything but clear)
