Honduras and Bahamas Mission Partnership

We have partnered with The University City Church of Gainesville to assist with their mission work in Honduras. Current efforts focus on continuing to grow the church plant in Las Casitas, a small community northwest of Tegucigalpa. Northwest has helped to raise funds to purchase special water filter bottles that supply clean drinking water for a year and will send volunteers to help with VBS, building homes and in the medical clinic. We have also partnered to send volunteers to the Bahamas to help the Highbury Park Church of Christ in Nassau. Efforts will include VBS, personal and group Bible study, light construction, painting and community outreach meeting various physical and spiritual needs.
